{"id":565,"date":"2015-07-07T14:53:11","date_gmt":"2015-07-07T13:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.freesound.org\/?p=565"},"modified":"2015-07-10T11:48:06","modified_gmt":"2015-07-10T10:48:06","slug":"introducing-the-modular-samples-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.freesound.org\/?p=565","title":{"rendered":"Introducing the Modular Samples library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi everyone,<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re glad to announce that we&#8217;re in the process of uploading around 70GB of analog synthesizer samples to Freesound*, aka the <strong>Modular Samples<\/strong> library, consisting of <strong>40,000 samples<\/strong> organised?in <strong>461 packs<\/strong>, recorded from <strong>20 different analog synthesizers<\/strong> and released with the <strong>CC0<\/strong> license !<\/p>\n<p>All sounds are tagged with instrument names, note names, midi note numbers?and, when available, different velocity layers. Check them out at?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.freesound.org\/people\/modularsamples\/\">http:\/\/www.freesound.org\/people\/modularsamples\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>All this has been possible thanks to the incredible efforts of?<strong>Richard Taylor<\/strong>, who has been creating this library for?many years and has now kindly offered it to us to upload to Freesound.
